It is better to have lighting with all parts clearly visible. and it will produce proper textures for the model also.

Use less Shadow

Shadow effect badly to the 3D scanning. when there is a shadow we cant see the depth of the area. it will show as a dark area. So details are not properly visible. Keep the Clear Background

The background is very important when you separate the object from the environment. So it is better to keep the object in opposite color background.
